Seller Description

This 2000 BMW M Roadster was purchased new by the seller and is powered by a 3.2-liter S52 inline-six mated to an E46-sourced six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Finished in Titanium Silver Metallic over black Nappa leather, the car is equipped with a black convertible soft top, a removable hardtop, a Harman Kardon Hi-Fi sound system, air conditioning, cruise control, and heated sport seats. Additional modifications include staggered-width 18″ wheels, stainless steel brake lines, upgraded sway bars, a JVC CD stereo, a cold-air intake kit, and an aluminum radiator and thermostat housing. This M Roadster has 59k miles and is offered with partial service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Connecticut title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Titanium Silver Metallic (354) and features a matching removable hardtop, a black power-operated soft top, black roll hoops, fender vents, and dual twin exhaust outlets. The seller notes scratches on the front splitter.

Silver 18” staggered-width wheels wear BMW-logo center caps and are mounted with Kumho Ecsta ASX tires. Modifications include red-finished calipers, stainless steel brake lines, upgraded sway bars, polyurethane rear suspension bushings, and StrongStrut body and strut tower braces.

The cabin features power-adjustable heated sports seats upholstered in black Nappa leather along with a matching dash, center console, and carpets. Amenities include a JVC CD stereo, a Harman Kardon Hi-Fi sound system, air conditioning, cruise control, and power windows, mirrors, and door locks. The seller notes that the shift boot needs adjustment. Wear and a puncture is visible on the driver’s seat and can be viewed in the gallery.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. An analog clock and gauges for voltage and oil temperature are mounted in the center stack. The digital odometer shows 59k miles.

The 3.2-liter S52 inline-six was rated at 240 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque when new. A Mishimoto aluminum radiator, an aluminum thermostat housing, and a cold air intake system have been installed.

The factory five-speed gearbox has been replaced with a six-speed manual transmission that was reportedly sourced from an E46 series BMW. It transmits power to the rear wheels through a limited-slip differential.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Connecticut with one owner.

Very cool that it's had just one owner. It's full of cool an interesting upgrades including a hard top, 6-speed transmission, new cooling system, and Strong Strut bars. It's interesting that it has the Z3 side gills and an 18" version of the style 42 wheels. The extra wheels and Supersprint exhaust are also great extras. That being said, the price still seems optimistic for the mileage and color combo.
