Seller Description

Up for sale is my 2000 M Roadster with 102,000 miles. I've owned this car for about 5 years and spent countless hours reconditioning and maintaining it. It was always my second car that I never got to drive as much as I wanted to. The car runs great and will get you anywhere you wish to go. Cosmetically, it's in a driver's condition. It does turn heads, but it will not win any shows. There are some dings and scratches that are normal for this age. The front bumper cover is slightly misaligned (as you can see in the pictures). It has been in a minor accident prior to my ownership, but as far as I know the body parts are all original. During my ownership, a drunk driver backed into it and dented the hood/grille area. The body shop that completed the repair did not do a perfect job, but it is still presentable.

Within the last 10k miles, the following maintenance/repairs have been completed:
regular oil changes
rear window replacement
power top microswitch
P/S reservoir and return hose
Intake elbow
Air filter
Complete cooling system overhaul
Driver seat leather replaced
Seat belt guides
Seat tilt kit
Hazard switch
Center console trim
Door handle gaskets
Falken RT660 tires with plenty of thread
Zimmermann rake rotors
StopTech sport brake pads
Brake system flush
Repaired curb rash on wheels
Koni shocks with HR springs
Shock mounts
LCABs
Sway bar links
Engine and transmission mounts
Aluminum splash shield
VANOS rebuilt
Valve cover gasket
Spark plugs
Clutch master
Clutch slave
Stainless steel clutch line
Stainless steel brake lines in front
CSB
Guibo
Diff and transmission oil

If sold for asking price, I will include a top cover, oil pump nut, oil pan gasket, oil pan baffle, complete rear end bushing set, Randy Forbes kit and Magnaflow cat-back exhaust system. Another bonus is that this car came with a hard top originally. Although the PO did not have it, the car does come with all the hardware, which is quite expensive.

The not so good:
1 trunk weld has popped (it has not gotten worse during my ownership)
Trunk floor appears to have been replaced (this was BMW's "fix" to the common separation issue)
Rear bushings should be refreshed (parts can be included in the sale)
The top does leak at side windows and at the rear window. The leaks really only present themselves when it rains hard, which is why I always use the top cover when the car is parked outside of the garage.
Keyless entry inop. I don't have the remote and I removed the original rear-view mirror (it is leaking internally and is included)

Let me know if there is anything else I can answer for you! I try to be as transparent as I can and would like to avoid any kind of surprises.

Also know that a large portion of the proceeds will be donated to defenders of Ukraine, including US vets.

As mentioned in the listing, we last saw this roadster for sale back in 2019. It still has the OEM rear wing. All the new parts since then are a big plus. It sounds like there's still some work to do. It looks like the tear in the driver seat has been taken care of. The price seems fair.
