Putting my 2000 M Roadster up for sale. $7k OBO
For sale is my 2000 BMW M Roadster. All I can say is how truly amazing this car is. I spent years looking for the perfect M Roadster, and this little roadster is just that. Nothing quite like a small roadster with a long hood in front of the you and shifting through the gears yourself. If you are looking at this car, you know that it’s rare, going up in value, and offers an analog driving experience that does not exist anymore.
The Really Good:
-Subframe Reinforcement
-Sagging glove box fixed
-Driver’s seat sliding problem fixed
-Slotted brake rotors
-Custom exhaust
-Custom suspension with coilovers, lowering springs, and spacers in the rear
The Good:
-Drives Strong. I had the motor checked before I bought the car, and pulls like it’s still 2000.
-Maintained all fluids in my ownership. Everything is up to date and wont need to worry about maintenance items until next year.
-The previous owner owned the car since 2012 and was a mechanic. He maintained the car in his ownership.
-Transmission shifts smoothly with no trouble between gears
-Newer tires with plenty of tread
-Top operates great automatically with no problems
-All interior lights function correctly
-Car comes with light replacement parts and a car cover
Other Info:
-Has salvage title from previous accident. The car had been repaired and has a rebuilt title
-Scratches and a few small dents normal to a 24 year old car
-Small tears in seats
-Has a custom audio system with bluetooth that currently is not working due to loose wire and I believe a small puncture in custom subwoofer
-Curb rash on all wheels (not noticeable from a distance)
-The volt meter gets stuck sometimes. But all you need to do is give it a flick and it works
-Might need a new bushing on passenger side rear suspension
-Original color of the car is Estoril Blue
The Not Good:
-Unfortunately needs a new cylinder head. This is the reason I am selling the car. My baby boy was just born, and I need to allocate money towards my son, rather than my 24 year old two seater. Or at least that’s what my wife says. The rest of the car has been completely maintained and there are no problems at all with the car. I love this car, and it will be hard to part with the M. That is why I am listing it at a good price for a quick sale.
Any questions please feel free and shoot me a message. I have all records of the car dating back to 2012.
Thank you for your interest in my little German hot rod!
