Posting here first in case anyone wants to pre-empt a broader sales effort later this year.
I am planning to sell my 2000 M Roadster. I bought it when it was about two years old and it has been garaged ever since. I have been working from home since 2013 and drive it less and less each year. It hit 100K in September 2014 and I have driven it less than 715 miles for each of the past two years (711 in 2023 and 679 in 2024). Total mileage right now is 115,440.
I'm at an age where I want to pass it on to someone who will appreciate it while I move to something more practical (I really only drive it to golf courses and cramming my clubs and a push cart into a roadster isn't without complications).
Color is Alpine White with an Imola Red and Black interior; one of 84 made in that combination. It has a dark red / burgundy soft top as well as an Alpine White hard top.
Original parts included (stereo, lighted shift knob, long antenna, etc. etc.) Hardtop ceiling hoist (pulley), metric screwdriver for hardtop, new extra rear plate mount (unpainted). Has an Alpine stereo installed, seat lift kit, new seat bushings, Bilstein Sports / slightly lowered. New soft top installed a few years ago - relatively unused as I keep the hard top on.
Cosmetic issues: paint chipping front end (bumper, hood), very small dent LR fender, wheels need repainting, small touched up spot on hard top (by original owner).
$20K firm.
I will honestly be crushed when someone drives this away…but it's time.
Location is Norfolk, Virginia.
PM me if you're interested and serious. (Will be configuring a "real" ad sometime for multiple sites in the near future.)
