I'm selling my 1999 BMW M Roadster. The car is in perfect condition except for the classic sub-frame failure (you can google BMW sub-frame failures). This car can be used for a parts car or can be fixed by BMW or I would recommend Randy Forbes. Everything on the car works except the passenger side seat motor. It has new clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing, flex plates and shifter knob. I am the second owner of this vehicle and have maintained it well. The car runs excellent, can be driven onto a flatbed truck, but obviously is NOT safe enough for the road.

2/25/12 Update - Bidding ended at just $5,600 which did not meet the reserve.
This roadster was mentioned on Bimmerforums recently. The mileage is high, but it sounds like it's been well maintained and had some good recent maintenance done. The salvage title is just from the dreaded subframe failure which is really not as bad as it sounds. A $2,500-$3,000 fix from Randy Forbes will make it better than new. I think it would be a shame to part out what is otherwise a pretty nice roadster. The seller just needs to find someone willing to put that much money into a salvage titled roadster with higher mileage.
