Anyone interested in what is likely the cheapest mechanically sorted M Roadster in the country? $9k firm. I have $17k into it. California car. Rare factory Evergreen/Evergreen. Easily passed smog.
I’m moving in January if anyone is interested before it leaves California.
It’s an evergreen on evergreen 2000 M Roadster with 111500 miles. It’s one of the 176 made and is mechanically pristine.
It has a VANDALISM-caused rebuilt title but has gone through the rebuilt title process (as stated in the carfax). The previous owner told me that someone stole the wheels and cut up the top, and the half-plastidipped wheels which are real style 40s were the replacements. That seal around the plastic rear window in the top is the other evidence. I had all the typical areas checked and the story lines up.
It’s pretty much mechanically perfect. Also the subframe is in great condition. It doesn’t have the annoying z3 door issue. The top doesn’t leak when I wash it. It’s a good driver.
Aesthetically, you can see in the video for yourself, it’s not perfect. It has some clear coat fade on the hood and trunk and there’s little scratches. The drivers seat bolster has a tear in it and one of the seat belt holders on the seat is broken.
